Custom Lapel Pins
Cloisonne Lapel Pins
Cloisonne Lapel Pins are created from a mold using a design that you approve. The initial mold is a copper bronze base which is then stamped to create raised and recessed areas on the pin’s face. The pin is carefully analyzed for accuracy before your selected colors are hand-filled into the recessed areas with a powdered glass-like mixture. As each new color is added the pin is fired at 1600°F for 2 to 4 minutes. This careful process ensures that your colors will appear sharp and distinct, and will not bleed together. Your Cloisonne Lapel Pins are then polished, one at a time, then plated with the finish of your choice. These finishes include 18K Gold, Silver, Nickel, Black Nickel, or several different variations of Antiquing. Each coin is inspected to ensure superior quality before being individually packaged and delivered via FedEx Overnight Air directly to your destination.

An optional epoxy can be applied at this stage which acts as a protective coating to keep the color enamels from cracking or fading over time. Silkscreen Printed Lapel Pins
Silkscreen Printed Lapel Pins are created when an exact replica of a logo, corporate text, and drawings are the requested pin design. We begin by stamping the pin into your design shape and plating it to your specific requirement. The silkscreen image is then placed onto the lapel pin, requiring no epoxy or protective coating, as the silkscreen process makes the pin design extremely strong and durable. We guarantee that you will receive your approved design on every pin. Every Silkscreen Printed Lapel Pin in your order is thoroughly inspected for accuracy and superior quality before being individually packaged and sent to your door.
Offset Digital Lapel Pins
Offset Digital Lapel Pins begin with a similar method to the die struck and cloisonne pins in that we can create your pin from any shape that you desire. The difference with Offset Digital Lapel Pins is that the pin will not have internal stamping which creates the raised and recessed areas for color fill. Your Offset Digital Lapel Pins will have a flat surface that will accept the image of your design when transferred from a photographic negative. The offset printed style of pin is used in instances where a gradient or color shift is necessary. In simple English…using the offset printed process we are able to print pictures, images, and camera ready artwork using a FULL-color process. The image is offset printed onto the pin blank which has been plated in your choice of 18K Gold, Silver, Nickel, Black Nickel, or several variations of Antiquing. then a clear epoxy dome is applied to protect the images surface. We recommend providing us with High Resolution (300 DPI or greater) Camera ready artwork for this process to ensure that a quality image is available for printing. Finally, each pin is inspected for quality and then individually packaged and Delivered via FedEx Overnight Air directly to your destination.
Photo Etched Lapel Pins
Photo Etched Lapel Pins are a very popular type of lapel pin for promotional products, Sports Trading Pins and Political Campaigns where a budget may need to be adhered to while maintaining the highest perceived value. Photo etched lapel pins offer a similar look to the cloisonne but are less expensive. The photo etched lapel pin manufacturing process allows for more detailed designs and a wider spectrum of colors to choose from. These pins have a flat surface that a computer will “etch” your design into. The design is filled with colored enamels of your choosing before being fired in a kiln to ensure durability then plated with your choice of finish. These finishes include 18K Gold, Silver, Nickel, Black Nickel, or several different variations of Antiquing. A clear epoxy dome is then applied to protect the image’s surface. Each pin is inspected to ensure superior quality before being individually packaged and delivered via FedEx Overnight Air directly to your destination.
Custom Trading Pins
Custom Trading Pins started gaining popularity many years ago in Little League Baseball and Softball Tournaments. Teams would bring baseball or Trading Pins to each tournament to trade with players from other teams that they were competing against. This created a lasting and more memorable experience for the kids as they took home a token of representation of all of the friends and competitors that they met during their tournaments.
Today Custom Trading Pins are popular among all team sports. Every year we design and produce thousands of trading pins for soccer, softball, hockey, football, gymnastics, swimming, basketball teams, and more. We create winning designs for events and organizations like Disney, Destination Imagination, and Odyssey of the Mind. The 2010 Winter Olympic Games hosted pin trading on a grand scale. This trading event was so large and exciting that it was taped and can be seen archived on such networks as MSNBC!
